![]() ![]() Not everything is bad though, I think it's pretty cool to have this AR feature, and I just hope the hand tracking gets better. This was my favourite and most satisfying of them all, and the tracking precision didn't really matter on this one. After, I tried a demo where I could see the real world around me (using the Leap sensors, in b&w of course) and there was this blob of energy that I could manipulate with my hands. Then there was this demo in the deep sea with some fish where I could use my hands to control them, but it didn't work in fullscreen for some reason. The collider demo didn't work at all, the hand tracking was just weird. I tried the introduction demo and that one is kind of cool, but it only worked after some tweaks and resets. The only supported mode for the rift is extended mode which is kind of a pain because I have to set the rift as my main monitor and I have to constantly move menus around so I can see them on my secondary monitor. ![]() It looks really simple, but I had problems on almost every demo. Because of the FOV limitation, I have to stretch my arms forward so the sensor captures my hands and after a 10 minutes demo my arms are tired. Even if I try moving my hands smooth and slowly it stops tracking every 4-7 seconds and the fingers are snapping and breaking like crazy. First of all, I think the tracking is worse because now the Leap isn't stationary (I'm not 100% sure about this). I have to say that I'm not very impressed. I bought the Leap Motion VR dev mount and tried yesterday for the first time.
